Starting from January 5, 2017 at 0 o’clock, the new railway operation diagram has taken effect in China.
According to the new diagram, Changsha South Railway Station has 14 more pairs of high-speed passenger trains, including 7 pairs originating trains towards Kunming (five pairs),
Yantai (one pair), Yongzhou (one pair), and Futian (one pair). The added trains will successively start operation from the day on.From today on, Changsha South Railway Station operates 454 high-speed trains bound for capital cities of 15 provinces and autonomous region, including Guangdong, Guangxi, Hubei, Henan, Hebei, Shannxi, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guizhou, Sichuan, Shandong, Anhui, and Yunnan, as well as municipalities of Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Chongqing.
The Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway line was put into full operation on December 28, 2016. The G4121/4 train takes only 6 hours and 7 minutes from Changsha to Kunming, while the fastest, G1525 starting from Wuhan, taking only 5 hours from Changsha to Kunming South Station.
Beginning from today, six pairs of high-speed trains will be operated between Changsha and Kunming, including newly-added five pairs (G2111/6, G2115/20, G2117/22, G2119/12, and G2121/14), and one pair serving extension line (G2113/8). |
